Kitchen Expansion
January 1, 2008
I’d like you to meet Mr. and Mrs. Streem who contracted us to do a wonderful remodel kitchen expansion for their Ravenna, Ohio home, which included removing large sections of existing walls. Our Towne & Country brand cabinetry was used and granite countertops will be the main focus of this beautiful new kitchen. The renovation was designed to accomodate the Mr.’s love of cooking and to make plenty of room to entertain their growing family.
Our big delivery truck first delivers the cabinetry and other materials:

Kitchen Remodel to Repair Water Damage
January 1, 2008
Every once in a while someone needs to remodel their kitchen unexpectedly. Here we have the Akron, Ohio residence of Mr. and Mrs. Quinn who came to us with water damage from faulty plumbing. In a situation like this we are able to install a kitchen quickly because of the cabinet line we keep in stock. We also have cabinet selections that are available in 1 week. Most cabinets need to be ordered well in advance.
Here’s the old kitchen, torn out, with fans to dry out the moisture:

Finishing the Basement
January 1, 2008
With 2 teenagers and a big puppy-dog, Mr. Steenrod of North Canton came to us with a request to enlarge his homes’ square footage by finishing its basement. This would be a traditional construction job that would need a plan, so we drew one up for him. Once the neccessary permits were obtained, we were able to get started. His home is still fairly new, but would need upgrading before we could start to frame the walls. These upgrades included some minor water diverting to help keep the basement dry, glass block windows, a new electric sub-panel dedicated to the new basement, underground plumbing for a new basement bathroom and kitchen, and a new large capacity water heater. Rough framing, insulation, mechanicals, drywall, woodwork, cabinetry, lighting, suspended ceiling, tile flooring and carpet will all be provided or contracted by Kitchens & More inc. WE DO IT ALL…….

Kitchen, Bath, and Family Room Remodel
January 1, 2008
Mr. & Mrs. Love came to us with a list of renovation ideas for their Hudson, Ohio home, and we took care of every one of her requests! First on the list was granite countertops and a ceramic tile backsplash for the kitchen. While waiting for the granite to be made, we installed 8 glass doors in the kitchen cabinets. Improvements in the bathrooms included a marble surround in one shower, some tile work in another, and new faucets. After the granite and new faucet were installed, the fun continued in the family room. We widened the doorway to the family room, installed crown moldings in the family and dining rooms, and finally, after considering a couple different ideas, the decision was made to install a pair of vaulted skylights. A simple concept really; we were able to provide a vaulted feel to a flat ceiling while also bringing light into the room with the skylights.
Here’s their new kitchen, complete with granite countertops:
